The first (and only, so far) ceremony on a boat – such a unique experience! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day at the Cape Grace hotel in Cape Town for this very special wedding.

Once again I was so privileged to work with the amazing Melissa Dietstein (van Zyl). Everything about this wedding was so picturesque! Even the sky played along, showing off all its beauty for these 2 special people! One of my favorite moments (that we snuck a picture of, hehe) was after the very last shots; Melissa had asked the Thea & Ruaan to dance through the olive groves, and as Melissa announced “That’s a wrap!”, they immediately gave each other this huge hug with smiles stretching from ear to ear! Completely unposed and so so moving. Man I love my job :)

I was lucky enough to assist the amazing Melissa Dietstein (van Zyl) at this beautiful wedding at one of my favorite wedding venues of all time, Vrede en Lust.

This was one of the most beautiful and touching ceremonies I have ever had the privilege to witness, and it’s moments like this that make you believe in true love. I will never forget Tash & Chris’s first dance: it was literally like in a movie! For those few moments, to them it was like they were the only 2 people in the room.
